Test Engineer

GPV Switzerland SA, a leading company in the EMS sector, is looking for a Test Engineer for the Engineering department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and releasing tests for various electronic boards.

Will work closely with product development teams, quality, and customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Technical interface in defining testability with the customer

• Proposal drafting: initial implementation costs, testing times, and delivery times

• Technical support for the product development team, testing production sections, and After Sales Service

• Responsible for writing test instructions and training during the introductory phase of the test itself

• Responsible for accepting tests received from customers and/or external suppliers

• Responsible for the correct functionality of assigned and/or developed tests

Mandatory Criteria

• Electronic Engineer (Computer Science skilled), Higher Technical School diploma or equivalent qualification

• Consolidated experience in test engineering and test strategies

• Software programming experience (LabVIEW, TestStand, .NET)

• Experience in development and implementing functional/ICT tests

• Interest in complex technologies, abstraction skills, and innovation attitude

• Fluent in spoken and written Italian and English. German is a plus.
