Job description

A leading EMS company based in Switzerland is seeking a Quality Engineer.

The selected candidate will act as the main point of contact for all quality-related activities concerning assigned customers, ensuring effective management of non-conformities and the definition of corrective and preventive actions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships regarding quality, acting as the primary interface and ensuring high customer satisfaction

  • Analyze customer-reported non-conformities, identify root causes, and define corrective actions. (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.)

  • Be responsible for product quality management during sampling phases, mass production, and throughout the entire product lifecycle

  • Coordinate continuous improvement activities and contribute to the reduction of customer complaints

  • Manage customer audits and participate in the execution of internal audit

Job requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or diploma in electronics/mechanical field

  • ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certification

  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma

  • IPC-A-610 certification

  • Strong problem-solving skills, customer-oriented mindset, and team-working attitude

  • Ability to work in dynamic environments under tight deadlines, maintaining an analytical and collaborative approach

  • Excellent written and spoken Italian and English
