Buyer

The Buyer will support the Lead Buyers in ensuring the availability of materials, at the best price, according to market procurement conditions and needs, while at the same time ensuring maximum priority in inventory reduction, in line with the turnover objective given.

Main Tasks:

• Proactively exchanging information with the relevant Demand Planning or Account Manager;

• Executing purchase orders from qualified suppliers according to the specifications established by Lead Buyers and Global Purchasing Team;

• Purchasing in accordance with MRP suggestions (quantity, date, price) according to the conditions established by strategic purchasing and in agreement with the received signing delegation;

•  Ensuring that order confirmations for each purchase are regularly sent, followed up and renegotiated if not in line with GPV needs;

• Monitoring deliveries by providing arrival forecasts;

• Working ensuring adequate focus on inventory reduction and meeting the turnover target, reducing the risk of excess inventory;

• Dealing with the Supplier Quality Manager, any non-conformity cases related to components from goods receipt/production.

Professional skills:

Mandatory:

• Proficiency in purchasing/sourcing;

• Strong analytical qualities;

• Usage of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook;

• Excellent spoken and written knowledge of Italian and English.

Counted as an advantage:

• Technical skills (electronics);

• Experience in sourcing materials.
